Autochrome Lumière, Club for Fine Art Photographers.


The November feature theme is Skyscape



Welcome !

The main idea of the Autochrome Lumière Club is that Photography must be treated and seen as Art and not as a mere snap shoot collection of everything that surrounds us.

The Club is the place, at deviantArt, for all the Photographers who agree with this idea.

The Club is also the place at deviantArt where Fine Art Photographers can showcase some of their Photography.

All the members of the Club can improve their Photography skills by giving feedback to other members’ posted photos and being given feedback on their own.

Every month we feature the Fine Art Photography submitted by our members.

Real art makes you think, when you look at it, it makes you feel it has magic and thought hidden inside it, the thought put inside of it by the artist.

Art makes you feel so deeply involved in the thought and the way pictured, that you do not notice anything else around you.
You are just looking and looking, feeling like you are the thought itself.
Moreover, after that, after you have seen the Artwork and have moved away from it, you start thinking about it, taking your own conclusions and creating your own visions.

In addition, maybe you start creating your own Art.
You will not be making parodies or copying it, just inspired by the force of the thought that the Artwork has.
You have seen something truly beautiful and meaningful and you will be inspired to create something completely different.
